Redswing charges no setup fee, no monthly fee, and requires no annual contract. The platform takes a small percentage of revenue processed through it: 3% of registration, 5% of auction proceeds and sponsor packages, and 0% on direct charitable donations. There is a $99 minimum fee, waived when your event processes over $5,000. With the optional Cover the Fee feature, players can absorb the platform fee at checkout, so their full registration goes to the charity.

What each rate covers
Registration (3%)
Covers platform setup, player management, confirmation emails, PDF scorecards, and pairings generation. With Cover the Fee on, your players pick up this 3% at checkout, so it costs your charity nothing.
Auction (5%)
Our text-to-bid auction keeps bidding open from the first tee to the 18th green, with automated outbid alerts that pull people back in — the back-and-forth a paper sheet on a table can't create. Cover the Fee applies here too: bidders can absorb the 5% at checkout. And you pay less than a standalone auction tool.
Donations (0%)
When a player donates at score submission or a supporter donates from a player's fundraising page, we take nothing. That money goes 100% to your charity. Always.
Cover the Fee
Worried the fee comes out of your cause? It barely touches it.
When Cover the Fee is on, a pre-checked box appears at checkout letting each registrant add the small fee to their own total, so the base price goes straight to your charity. On registrations, when a player leaves it checked, the fee disappears entirely; the same option carries across the rest of your event. Your guests are already there to support the cause, and many are glad to help.

We're a nonprofit. Can we justify paying a platform fee at all?+
That's exactly what Cover the Fee is built for. The fee is small, and your players can opt to cover it at checkout, so when they do, their full registration goes to your cause. It's zero on direct donations either way. Weighed against the volunteer hours saved, the auction revenue text-to-bid keeps climbing all day, and the registrations online signup brings in, Redswing is built to more than pay for itself. And if your event raises nothing, you owe nothing.
Is there really no monthly fee?+
None. Redswing charges a small percentage of revenue processed through the platform: nothing upfront, nothing monthly, nothing annually. If your event raises nothing, you owe nothing.
What if my event is small, with fewer than 50 players?+
A $99 minimum platform fee applies to events that process less than $5,000 total. Most events exceed this threshold with their first few registrations. The minimum is waived automatically.
How does the Cover the Fee checkbox work?+
When enabled in your event settings, a pre-checked checkbox appears at registration checkout offering players the option to add the processing fee to their total. It's voluntary; players can uncheck it if they'd rather not.
What does 'direct charitable donations are always free' mean?+
If a player donates at the end of their round, or a supporter donates from a player's personal fundraising page, Redswing collects 0% on that transaction. It goes 100% to your charity.
When do I get paid?+
Payments transfer to your connected Stripe account automatically as they're processed, minus the platform fee. There's no holdback period. You see the money as your event runs.
What's the Stripe processing fee?+
Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction. This is separate from the Redswing platform fee and is standard across all payment processors. Our Cover the Fee mechanism helps offset this as well.
