Who pays the booking fee

When card payments open, golfers who pay online pay the $5 booking fee as part of the price, or your organization can choose to cover it. Either way, the price golfers see is the full price, and it does not change at checkout unless a golfer chooses to add an optional amount.

Example: if your organization pays it, golfers see $175 and $5 per golfer comes out of your total.

How does Redswing make money?
Running your tournament is free. Redswing earns a $5 booking fee only when golfers pay online by card, and card payments are not open yet. What will my event cost?
Use the estimate above with your own numbers. It is an estimate, not a promise. Example, when card payments open: 100 golfers who pay online at $180 each (includes the $5 booking fee) pay $500 in booking fees in total, and your organization pays Redswing nothing. Are there fees I will not see until later?
No. Redswing never sends you a bill. When card payments open, the $5 booking fee is shown inside the price golfers see, and again in the order summary before they pay.
Who pays the fee, me or my golfers?
Golfers, by default, and only when they pay online. The $5 is inside the price they see. You can choose to cover it instead. Either way, the price golfers see is the full price, unless a golfer chooses to add an optional amount at checkout.
What if my event is small?
There is no minimum fee and nothing up front. A small event is free like any other. Until card payments open, golfers pay you directly (cash, check or your own link) or you add them by hand. That is free. Redswing never sends you a bill.
When do I get paid?
Card payments are not open yet. Checks and cash go straight to your organization. When card payments open, they will go to your organization's own account. We will say how and when here.
Does Redswing ever hold our money?
No. Redswing never holds your money.
What are the card processing fees?
Card processing is charged by your payment processor at its own published rate, paid by your organization in its own account. That fee is separate from the Redswing fee. Card payments are not open yet.
Can I get the Redswing fee back if I refund a golfer?
Yes. If you refund a golfer, the $5 booking fee is refunded too.
