Golf Tournament Sponsorship Packages: The 2026 Pricing Guide

July 7, 2026 · 8 min read
Golf tournament sponsorship packages typically range from $100–$500 for a hole sponsorship to $2,500–$10,000 for a title sponsorship, with mid-tier packages commonly priced around $375, $600, and $1,000 for small-to-mid-size events. Contest sponsorships (longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one) usually sell for $200–$500. The right prices for your event depend on your field size, your audience, and what you're actually giving sponsors in return.
This guide gives you a complete tier ladder, real price ranges by event size, and what belongs in each package.
Price your ladder by fundraising goal
Sponsorship pricing scales with event size. Industry sample packages group events into three bands:
| Event size | Fundraising goal | Title sponsor | Mid tiers | Hole sponsor |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small (72–100 players) | $10,000–$20,000 | $1,500–$2,500 | $375 / $600 / $1,000 | $100–$250 |
| Mid-size (100–144 players) | $25,000–$50,000 | $2,500–$5,000 | $1,000 / $1,750 / $2,500 | $250–$400 |
| Large / established | $100,000+ | $5,000–$10,000+ | $2,500 / $5,000 / $7,500 | $400–$500 |
Two rules of thumb:
- Your title sponsorship should be 10–20% of your total fundraising goal. If you want to raise $30,000, a $3,000–$5,000 title package is in range.
- Sell fewer, bigger packages before many small ones. One $2,500 sponsor is easier to service than ten $250 signs — and the relationship is worth more next year.
The standard tier ladder
Title / Presenting sponsor (1 available). Event named "presented by [Sponsor]." Logo on the event page, registration confirmation, leaderboard, and all signage; a foursome included; remarks at dinner. This is a marketing buy for the sponsor — price it like one.
Dinner / reception sponsor (1). Naming rights to the 19th hole, where every player ends up. Usually the second-priciest package.
Cart / beverage cart sponsor (1–2). Logo on every cart or the drink cart — the most visible mid-tier placements on the course.
Contest sponsors (3–5). Longest drive, closest to the pin, putting contest, hole-in-one. $200–$500 each; pair each with signage at the contest hole. If you run an insured hole-in-one prize, the insurance premium typically runs a few hundred dollars and the sponsor covers it.
Hole sponsors (18 available). The volume tier: a sign on the tee box, $100–$500 depending on market. The mistake most events make is only selling this tier.
In-kind sponsors. Prizes, tee gifts, printing, and auction items. Real value — but track it separately from cash so your revenue reporting stays honest.
What sponsors actually want in the package
Signage is table stakes. The packages that renew include:
- Digital placement — logo on the event registration page (seen by every player at signup, not just on event day), the live leaderboard, and post-event emails
- A foursome or twosome in the field for mid-tier and up
- First right of renewal for next year at this year's price
- An impact report after the event — how much was raised, how many players saw their brand. Sponsors renew when someone shows them what they bought. (Redswing generates a sponsor impact report automatically.)
How to sell the ladder
Put the packages on your event page with self-serve checkout — sponsors are businesses, and businesses buy things online. Events that require a phone call to sponsor lose the $250 impulse buyer entirely. Send the ladder to last year's sponsors first with renewal pricing, then to players' employers (ask your committee: "whose company would sponsor a hole?").
