Sponsor logo files: formats, size, and print quality

Which logo files Redswing accepts, what it does to them, and what to send your printer for large signs.

Redswing accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, and SVG logos. Photos get shrunk, so use a sharp logo or an SVG.

Overview

Logos show on your event page, the leaderboard TV, and printed pieces. The upload is on the Sponsors tab, in a sponsor's logo section.

Accepted files

  • Formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, or SVG.
  • Size limit: 5 MB per file.
  • What happens on upload: JPEG, PNG, and WebP are compressed to about 1 MB and limited to 1600 pixels on the longest side. An SVG is stored as it is.

Upload a logo

  1. Open Dashboard → Events → [Event] → Sponsors.
  2. Find the sponsor and choose to add or edit the logo.
  3. Pick the file. A message shows when the upload is done. A sponsor can also send you the logo for you to upload.

If a logo looks pixelated

  1. Ask the sponsor for an SVG, or a large transparent PNG.
  2. Upload it again. An SVG stays sharp at any size.
  3. Do not upload a screenshot or a photo of a sign.

For large printed signs

Hole signs from Redswing are US Letter size. For larger signs, send your print shop the sponsor's original vector logo, not the version in Redswing. The 1600 pixel limit is too small for an 18 by 24 inch print. See Hole signs and printing.
