Connecting Stripe to accept payments

Stripe is how money from registrations, sponsors, and donations reaches your bank account.

Redswing uses Stripe to process credit cards securely. You connect your charity's Stripe account once, and every payment flows to your bank automatically.

To connect:

  1. From your dashboard, click Connect Stripe.
  2. Stripe asks for your organization's details — legal name, address, EIN, and a bank account for payouts.
  3. Once approved, your dashboard shows Payments: Active and you can start taking registrations.

You don't need an existing Stripe account — you'll create one during this step. It's free to set up. If your charity already has Stripe, you can connect that.

Until Stripe is connected, your event page can't take payments, so connect it before you publish.
