Redswing is free for organizers. Setting up and running an event costs $0. There is no minimum fee, no subscription and no contract.
How Redswing earns
- Golfers who register online: a $5 booking fee per golfer. It is included in the price golfers see, for example "$180, includes $5 booking fee".
- You can choose to cover it. Open Dashboard → Events → [Event] → Settings, find Who pays the Redswing booking fee, choose We will cover it. and click Save. Golfers then see your price, and the $5 comes out of your share.
- Golfers you add by hand (cash, check, comp code or import): $5 each, up to $299 per event, billed to your organization after the event, from your first event. Until card payments open, golfers who reserve online and pay you directly count here too. If golfers play free and no money is collected, nothing is billed. - Golfer spots included in a sponsor package bought online: $5 per included golfer, paid by the sponsor.
What has no Redswing fee
- 0% of sponsorships, auction, add-ons and donations, plus on-course stations (0%). Direct donations are always free.
- Text messages: included. There is no per-message charge.
Card processing
Card processing is charged at your payment processor's own rate, in your organization's own payment account. Redswing does not add to it. The $5 booking fee is reduced by the extra card processing it causes, so you never pay card fees on Redswing's fee.
When card payments open, payers will see an optional, unticked box to add the card fees. See The "cover the fee" option.
Refunds
If you refund a golfer, their $5 booking fee is refunded too. See Issuing a refund.
