Anti-snipe extends an item's close time when a bid lands near the end, so nobody loses by a moment. Then you close the auction and settle winners with a few buttons.
Overview
The setting is under Settings, in the auction options: Extend auction on last-minute bids (anti-snipe), an Extension window (minutes), and Maximum extensions. It only applies to an item that has a close time stored. Closing from the dashboard is manual.
Close and settle
- On the Auction page, click Close & set winners when bidding ends.
- Card settlement is not available yet. Collect each winning bid yourself (cash, check or your own payment link).
- Click Mark paid on the item when the winner has paid.
