On the Auction tab:
- Add items — title, description, photo, minimum bid, and bid increment. To add many at once, click CSV template, fill it in, then Import items. The template columns are:
item_number, title, description, category, fair_market_value, minimum_bid, bid_increment(title and a minimum bid are required). You'll see a preview to fix any errors before importing. - Set a Fair market value ($) on each item (used for tax receipts).
- Click Open all when you're ready for bids.
Each item also gets its own public page and a bid code. Today guests bid on paper bid sheets. Online bidding needs a saved card, and card payments are not open yet. Text-to-bid is not turned on. See Paper bid sheets.
When bidding ends, click Close & set winners. Card settlement is not available yet. Collect each winning bid yourself (cash, check or your own payment link), then click Mark paid on the item.
