Your account controls your event, your player list, and where your money goes. Treat requests that touch any of these with care.
Overview
Sign in with an emailed link, Google, or an email and password. Your email account is still the key to your Redswing account, because sign-in links and password resets go there. Most problems come from fake messages, not from the software.
What Redswing will never ask you to do
- Change your bank account or payout details because of an email, text, or phone call. Bank details are changed only by you, inside the payment processor's own screens, after you opened them yourself.
- Share a sign-in link or code with anyone.
- Send your player list by email or text. If a message claims to be from Redswing and asks for any of these, do not reply. Open Ask AI or email hello@redswing.io to check.
If you think someone else is in your account
- Open Dashboard → Team. Check the list of members and invites. If you are an admin, remove anyone you do not recognize and cancel unknown invites.
- Secure the email account you use to sign in. Change its password and turn on two-step sign-in with your email provider. If you use a Redswing password, reset it with Send reset link on the sign-in page.
- Look at your recent auction items and event changes for anything you did not do.
- Open Ask AI and tell it what you saw. A person at Redswing can review your account.
If you see lots of small registrations from people you do not know
This can be card testing, where someone tries stolen cards with small payments.
- Do not refund them yourself.
- Write down the time, the amounts, and the names or emails.
- Open Ask AI and ask for a person to review. Redswing can look into it and protect your event. Also see Chargebacks and disputes.
About your player list and privacy
- Each organization sees only its own players. Redswing does not share one organization's player phone numbers or emails with another.
- If you emailed your list to the wrong people, tell your committee, and open Ask AI. Redswing can help you understand what to do next. Do not guess about notification duties. Ask your attorney.
- Texts only go to players who opted in. See SMS consent.
About Ask AI
Ask AI works with your own organization's information. It shows you a preview and asks you to confirm before it changes anything. Text inside a team name or a message is treated as text, not as instructions.
Things to know
- A security email you did not expect: do not click its links. Go to redswing.io yourself.
- Redswing support never needs your sign-in link.
