My event page shows 404 or not found

Why a public event page might show not found, and how to fix it.

An event page appears only when the event is published. Most 404s are a draft event or a typo in the link.

Overview

The public page is available once the event status is published, active, or complete. A draft event shows not found.

Check these

  1. Open Dashboard → Events and look at the status next to your event. If it says draft, finish setup and click Publish event, or ask Ask AI to publish it. See Create your first event.
  2. Open the page from the View event page link in the event menu. Compare the address with the one you shared.
  3. A link with a typo or an extra character shows not found. Copy the link again.
  4. If someone changed the event name, the address stays the same unless Redswing support changed it. Check the shared link.
  5. Reload, or try a private window, in case a saved copy is stale.

Things to know

  • Registration can be closed even when the page opens. Check Capacity, waitlists, and closing registration.
  • A "page not found" on a QR code usually means the printed QR points to an old address. Print the QR again from the event page.

Still stuck?

Open Ask AI. It can check the event's status.
