Your organization links its own payment account once, and card payments from players, sponsors, and donors are paid directly to your organization.
Card payments are not open yet. Redswing is still testing card payments. You can send your details for review today. Until card payments open, record checks and cash.
Overview
Redswing is a technology platform. It does not hold your money. Card payments settle to the payment account your organization connects. Before you can connect, Redswing checks that your organization is real. This keeps fake events off the site.
How to connect
- Open Dashboard → Get paid. The Card payments box shows your status.
- An organization admin enters the Legal name of your organization, the EIN (9 digits), and a Phone number, then clicks Send for review. Other team members see a note asking an admin to do it.
- Redswing reviews the details. The status reads We are reviewing your details until it is done.
- When the status reads Approved, an admin clicks Connect your payment account and finishes setup with the payment provider. Money goes straight to your organization.
- When it is done, the page says Your payment account is connected. The Card payments card on your dashboard shows as done.
Until your payment account is active
- Your event page shows that registration is opening soon. Players can leave their email to be told when it opens.
- You can still build your event, pairings, sponsor tiers, and auction.
- You can still record cash and check payments yourself. See Recording cash or check payments.
Things to know
- Use an account that belongs to your organization. A personal account for someone else's charity is likely to be flagged in review.
- If the processor puts your account under review, it will ask for documents. Redswing cannot speed that up. See My payment account is under review.
- Direct donations are free of Redswing fees. See What does Redswing cost?.
Still stuck?
Open Ask AI, the red button in your dashboard. It can check whether your payment account shows as active and hand the issue to a person.
