Letting golfers reserve a spot and pay you directly

While card payments are not open, golfers can reserve online and pay you by cash, check or your own link.

Card payments are not open yet. Until they are, golfers can still sign up on your event page: they reserve a spot and pay you directly.

Turn it on

  1. Open Dashboard → Get paid.
  2. Turn on Let golfers reserve a spot and pay you directly.
  3. Add short instructions golfers will see, for example "Mail a check to ..." or a link to your own payment page.
  4. Save.

What golfers see

They pick their spot, fill in the form and see your instructions. Their sign-up shows as waiting for payment until you mark it paid.

When the money arrives

Use Mark paid on Registrations and choose Cash, Check or Comp. See Marking a golfer paid.

What it costs

These golfers count as golfers you add by hand: $5 each, up to $299 per event, billed to your organization after the event. If golfers play free and no money is collected, nothing is billed. When card payments open, golfers who pay by card pay the $5 booking fee inside the price instead. See The per-golfer invoice after your event.
