Moving a player to another group

Use Move player on the Pairings page to put one golfer in a different group without regenerating pairings.

After you generate pairings you can move one golfer at a time. You do not need to regenerate, so your other edits stay.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard → Events → [Event] → Pairings.
  2. Find the golfer's group card.
  3. Click Move player next to the golfer.
  4. Choose the group to move them to, then confirm.

Things to know

  • Check the new group is not over your team size before you print.
  • Moving a player does not change their payment or check-in.
  • If scoring has started, move players only between groups that have not entered scores, so no score is attached to the wrong group.
  • Do not use Generate pairings again to fix one player: it rebuilds every group and loses your edits. See Undoing a pairings change.
