Accept a team invite

Join your committee's organization from the invite email, using the email address it was sent to.

Someone on your committee invited you to their organization on Redswing. Accept with the email address the invite was sent to.

You will need: the invite email ("You're invited to join ... on Redswing").

Steps

  1. Open the email and click Accept invitation. The page says Join and the organization's name, and the role you were given.
  2. Not signed in? Click Sign in to accept. Sign in, or click Create account, with the invited email. You come back to the invite page.
  3. Click Accept invitation. You land on the organization's dashboard.
  4. The first time, Platform compliance opens. Read it, tick the box and click Acknowledge and continue. See The one-time compliance acknowledgment.

Before you accept

  • Do not create your own organization first. If Redswing asks you to Create your organization, stop and open the invite link again instead.
  • One account belongs to one organization. If your account already belongs to another organization, accepting moves it to this one.
