Each event has a Notifications card in Event settings.
Who can do this: Admin or Editor.
Steps
- Open the event and click Event settings in the sidebar.
- Scroll to the Notifications card.
- Turn on or off: New registration alert, Registration alert threshold (every Nth), Scoring complete alert, Auction close alert and Daily digest email.
- Each switch saves as soon as you change it. "Saved" shows at the top right of the list.
Important: these emails are not being sent yet
Redswing saves your choices in the Notifications card, but as of this update it does not send these alert or digest emails. Do not rely on them to know when someone signs up or when scoring is complete.
What Redswing does send you today:
- An email to your organization's contact email when an event is published.
- Emails about your text messaging setup (approved, or action needed).
Keep an eye on things meanwhile
- New sign-ups: Golfers signed up on the event's Overview, and the Golfers page. The Get paid page lists payments you are still waiting on.
- Scoring: the Scoring page shows each group's progress. In Event settings, under Scoring, Show a note when a team finishes scoring adds a note at the top of the Scoring page listing finished groups (no email or text).
- Anything else: ask Ask AI, for example "How many golfers signed up this week?"
