Some packages include golfer spots, for example a foursome. There's no form for sponsors to name them. You send the names to the organizer and they add each golfer to the event.
Steps
- Decide who's playing. You need each golfer's name. An email for each is useful too.
- Email the names to the organizer (reply to any email from them). Say which company and package they're for.
- The organizer adds each golfer for your sponsorship. Their list shows how many of your spots are filled.
What happens next
- Your golfers are on the field list. On event day they check in and score like everyone else. Send them Check in when you arrive and Score your group, hole by hole.
- Your golfers don't pay anything. The booking fee for the spots was in your package price if you bought online.
- Your golfers aren't signed up for texts. They can choose texts for their own phones.
Common problems
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| A golfer drops out | Send the organizer the new name. They can change it. |
| You have more golfers than spots | Extra golfers sign up and pay on the event page like anyone else. |
| You don't want to use the spots | Tell the organizer. Whether anything is refunded is their decision. |
Still need help? Your tournament organizer can fix this. Reply to your confirmation email (replies go to the organizer), or ask at the check-in desk on the day.
