Scoring in the event sidebar (under On the day) is your control room during the round.
Who can do this: anyone on your team can look; Admins and Editors can send texts.
What is on the page
- The header says how many groups are complete, for example "3/18 groups complete." Open leaderboard opens the public board in a new tab.
- Text scoring links texts each golfer who agreed to texts their link. See Text the scoring links.
- A note listing finished groups ("Finished: Group 2, Group 7"), if Show a note when a team finishes scoring is on in Event settings.
- Possible hole-in-one alerts at the top when a group enters a 1. See Hole-in-one alerts.
- One card per group with its golfers and progress:
- Not started (dashed badge): no hole saved yet.
- Thru 7 with a progress bar and "7/18 holes": holes saved so far.
- Complete (green, with a tick): the group sent its final scores, or every hole is saved.
Get a group's links
Tap Scoring links on the card for the Group QR, Copy group link, and each golfer's Copy and Open. See Get a group's scoring link and QR code.
Score for a group yourself
Tap Open next to any golfer in that group. Their scorecard opens in a new tab and works exactly as it does for golfers. Use it to enter a paper card or fix a score.
What to watch for
| What you see | What it likely means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Not started 15 minutes after the start | The group has no link | Send a volunteer with the group QR, or text the group link. |
| A group stuck on the same Thru for a long time | Weak signal, a dead phone, or they forgot to tap Next hole | Ask the group. Their phone keeps unsent holes and sends them later. |
| All groups finished but one | The last group has not tapped Send final scores | Ask them to finish, or enter the card yourself with Open. |
The page shows what was saved when it loaded. Reload it to see the latest numbers. The leaderboard updates by itself.
