Do the first block the next morning, and the rest in the two weeks after. Each item names the page in your event's sidebar.
The next morning
- Scoring: check every group has finished. Golfers can still fix a hole with Fix a score unless you turned off score edits. See Fix a wrong score.
- Leaderboard: save the final board (a screenshot or a print). Settle any ties the way your committee decided; the board shows ties and doesn't break them.
- Contests: record each contest winner on Contests so they show on the board and in the report.
- Auction: on Auction, use Record winner and Mark paid for each item.
- Money collected on the day: record cash and checks. Golfers: Mark paid on Golfers. Donations: Record a donation on Donors. Sponsors: Mark paid on Sponsors.
- Thank volunteers and sponsors while it's fresh.
Within a week
- Thank-you email: Messages, then Emails, then Post-event thank-you. See Send thank-you emails.
- Report: Report, then Generate report, then Download PDF for your board. See Make your post-event report.
- Check the numbers: compare the report with your own books. See The report doesn't match my books.
- Sponsors: Generate sponsor reports on Sponsors and send each sponsor theirs.
- Your golfer list: Export CSV on Golfers. Keep it private. See Export your data.
Within two weeks
- Tax letters: Tax receipts: check your EIN, mailing address and the value golfers received, then Download all letters (PDF). See Send tax letters to donors and golfers.
- Payouts: check Payouts for card money reaching your bank. Redswing never holds your money.
- Refunds still owed: Get paid, then Refund a payment (admins only).
For next year
- Home, then Duplicate for next year. See Run it again next year.
- Look at Insights (Plan next year and Benchmarks).
- Write down what to change: dead zones on the course, check-in lines, auction timing.
- Keep at least two admins on your account. See Invite your committee.
