Send yourself a test scoring link

See exactly what golfers will get, without sending anyone a text.

Redswing has no "text me a sample scoring link" button. These two ways show you the real thing.

Who can do this: Admin or Editor

See a real scorecard on your phone

  1. Open Scoring, tap Scoring links on any group's card.
  2. Tap Copy next to a golfer, and send the link to yourself (your own text, email or notes app). Or tap Open on your phone.
  3. Open it on your phone. This is exactly what that golfer sees.

Anything you save on that card is a real score for that group. Look, but do not tap Next hole unless you will change it back.

Check the wording of a text

  1. Open Messages, then Texts, and write your message (or tap a Quick template).
  2. Tap Send test to my phone. It goes only to the mobile number in Your profile (account menu). If it asks you to add your number, do that first.

In a test text, the [Scoring Link] spot comes through empty, because the test is not tied to a golfer. Real texts fill in each golfer's own link.
