Can't make it, but a friend can take your place? The organizer changes the name on your spot.
Steps
- Reply to your confirmation email (it reaches the organizer). Give the event name, your team and your substitute's full name. Add their email if you have it.
- The organizer changes the name. It shows on the pairings and the leaderboard.
- Tell your substitute where and when to be, and to check in with the email used on the sign-up, or by name at the desk.
Good to know
- Your substitute scores with your group's link or QR code, like everyone else.
- Texts don't move with the spot. Your substitute chooses texts for their own phone if they want them.
- Whether you settle up with your substitute is between you. The organizer's refund policy still applies to the original payment.
