Playing without a smartphone

You don't need a phone to play: a teammate can score for the group, or you keep a paper card.

A phone helps, but nobody needs one to play.

Options

  • A teammate scores. One phone per group is enough. Whoever has a phone opens the group's link and scores for everyone.
  • Keep a paper scorecard. Ask at check-in for a scorecard. Hand it to the organizer when you finish; they can enter the scores.
  • Check in with a volunteer. Tell them your name or team name.

If your phone dies mid-round

A teammate can open the same group link and carry on. Holes you already sent are there. Holes saved only on your phone send when you charge it and open the link again.

Still need help? Your tournament organizer can fix this. Reply to your confirmation email (replies go to the organizer), or ask at the check-in desk on the day.
