You can stop event texts at any time, from your phone.
Draft for legal review: This article describes how Redswing works in plain language. It is not tax or legal advice and an attorney has not reviewed it yet. Ask your own tax advisor or attorney about your situation.
Steps
- Open any text from the event.
- Reply STOP. Plain words work too, such as "stop texting me", "unsubscribe" or "opt out".
- Your phone gets one confirmation. After that, no more texts are sent to your number through Redswing.
Good to know
- Stopping texts doesn't cancel your sign-up. You can still check in, score from a QR code or link, and see the leaderboard.
- Want texts again? Reply START to the same number.
- Reply HELP for a short description of the texts and how to stop them.
- Emails are separate. To stop event emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a campaign email.
Still need help? Your tournament organizer can fix this. Reply to your confirmation email (replies go to the organizer), or ask at the check-in desk on the day.
