There's no button for golfers to change or drop a sign-up. The organizer does it for you, usually in a minute.
Draft for legal review: This article describes how Redswing works in plain language. It is not tax or legal advice and an attorney has not reviewed it yet. Ask your own tax advisor or attorney about your situation.
What to ask for
| You want to | Ask the organizer to |
|---|---|
| Fix a misspelled name | Edit the golfer's name. |
| Send someone in your place | Change the name to your substitute. See I can't play: send a substitute. |
| Change your email | Update it on your sign-up. |
| Drop out | Remove you from the event, and refund you if their policy allows. |
To reach the organizer, reply to your confirmation email. Include the event name, the team name and who signed up.
What happens to your money
- Refunds are the organizer's decision. Redswing doesn't set the refund policy.
- If you paid by card and the organizer refunds you: If you are refunded, your booking fee is refunded too (in proportion, for a partial refund).
- If you paid the organizer directly, they return the money themselves.
What happens next
- When the organizer removes you, your spot opens up, sometimes for someone on the waitlist.
- Your scoring link stops working and says You were removed from this event.
Still need help? Your tournament organizer can fix this. Reply to your confirmation email (replies go to the organizer), or ask at the check-in desk on the day.
