If you do nothing, Redswing uses a standard par-72 template. Set the real pars so scorecards and the score-versus-par numbers are right.
Time: about 3 minutes. You will need: the course's scorecard.
Steps
- Open Event settings. Scroll to the Course & scorecard card. The grey line at the top says what you are using now.
- To search instead of typing, use Find your course: type at least 3 letters, tap Search, pick your course, tick every tee your golfers use, then tap Use N tees. The message "Course applied" confirms it. If you do not see this search, it is not switched on, so use the manual way below.
- To type the pars, tap Enter pars manually.
- Type the par for each hole (3, 4, 5 or 6). You see 18 boxes, or 9 if your event is 9 holes.
- Tap Save pars. The message "Pars saved." appears.
What happens next
- Printed Scorecards show your pars.
- Pars are saved for the event as a whole.
Common problems
| What you see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| "Each par should be a number from 3 to 6." | A box is empty or has another number | Fix the box. |
| "Type at least 3 characters of the course name." | The search is too short | Type more letters. |
| "No matches" | The search found nothing | Try the club name, or enter pars by hand. |
