Set team size and the number of golfers

Change how many golfers are on a team and the total you can take, and what the team-size warning means.

Team size is golfers per team (1 to 6). Max players is the most golfers you will take in total.

Steps

  1. Open Event settings, then Event details.
  2. Pick Team size from the menu, such as "3 golfers".
  3. Type Max players, or leave it blank for no limit.
  4. Tap Save event details.

The warning

If some teams already have more golfers than your new team size, you see "Some teams are bigger than the new team size". It says how many teams will need splitting. Nothing moves until you make the pairings again.

  • Save anyway saves the new size.
  • Keep the old team size cancels.

What happens next

  • A note says "Team size changed. Make the pairings again to use it." Do that on Pairings. If scores are already entered, pairings are locked, so choose your team size before scoring.
  • Max players counts golfers, not teams. You cannot set it below the number already signed up.
  • With a limit set and Allow a waitlist when sold out on, a full event shows the waitlist. See Sold out and waitlists.
