Set up your event

Change a group's starting hole, flight or order

Use the controls on a group card to set its starting hole, flight or course, and drag groups into a new order.

Each group card has a footer with controls. These still work after scoring has started.

Steps

  1. Open Pairings.
  2. At the bottom of the group's card, use:
    • Starting hole (shotgun starts only): pick "Hole 1", "Hole 2" and so on. A message says "Starting hole set to N".
    • Flight (shown when you have more than one flight): pick the flight. A message says "Moved to Flight B".
    • Course (shown when you play more than one course).
  3. To reorder groups, drag the handle (Drag to reorder) at the left of the group's title. A message says "Order saved". Flight and course buttons at the top of the page filter the list.
  4. Reprint what you printed.

Things to know

  • Two groups may have the same hole. See Two groups per hole.
  • Group numbers do not change when you reorder or move holes.
  • The printed Tee sheet is sorted by starting hole or time, so reordering does not change its order.
  • For wave and tee-time starts there is no control for one group's time. Times come from the start time and the spacing.
  • If you move a group's hole after golfers got their scoring link, tell them. The group link itself stays the same.
