Set up your event

Find and link your course

Pick your course from Redswing's course list so card payments can check it, and so your page shows the right place.

Linking your course to Redswing's course list is one of the checks that lets your event take card payments. Until you link it, golfers can still sign up and pay you directly (cash, check or your own link).

Who can do this: Admin or Editor. Time: about 1 minute.

Before you start

This is different from pars and tees. Linking is about which course it is. To print the right pars on scorecards, see Enter your course and pars by hand.

Steps

  1. Open Event settings in the event sidebar. The Event details card has a Course box. If your course is not linked, a note says "To take card payments, pick your course from the course list."
  2. Type part of the course name under Search the course list. Matches appear as you type, with the city and state.
  3. Tap Use this course on yours.
  4. The card now says Course linked with the course name.

You can also do this in the event wizard, on the Basics step, under the course name.

What happens next

  • Your event can pass the course check for card payments. Your organization still connects Square on Get paid.
  • Linking does not rename your event or change the course name golfers see.

Change it

Tap Pick a different course and choose another.
