Set up your event

Run an event on more than one course

How to split one tournament across several courses, and what changes in pairings and scoring.

Most events use one course. If yours is spread across several, add the extra courses in the wizard, before you publish.

Steps

  1. In the wizard, on Basics, find Playing on more than one course? (most events skip this).
  2. Tap Add course.
  3. Type the course name, choose 18 holes or 9 holes, and add the address.
  4. Repeat for each extra course. Use the remove button on a row to take one away.
  5. Finish the wizard and publish.

What happens next

  • When you make pairings, Redswing splits the groups across the courses in even blocks. Starting holes or tee times restart on each course.
  • Pairings shows a button for each course with its group count. Each group card has a Course menu to move it to another course.
  • Each course has its own starting holes, scoring and leaderboard.

What Redswing does NOT do

  • Event settings has no Add course button. Add courses before you publish. If you need to add one later, open Ask AI.
  • The Course & scorecard card holds one set of pars for the event. If your courses differ, check the printed scorecards for each course before the day.
