Set up your event

Steps 6 and 7, Sponsors and contests (or skip them)

Start your sponsor packages in the wizard, learn that contests are set up after publishing, or skip both.

Both steps are optional. You can tap Next straight through them and come back after you publish.

Step 6, Sponsors

This step starts your sponsor packages. Gold, Silver and Bronze are only suggestions. Rename them, change the prices, or remove any you do not want.

  1. For each package, type a Package name and a price.
  2. Type the benefits, separated by commas, in Benefits (comma separated).
  3. If the package includes playing spots, type how many in Golfer spots included.
  4. In Value of goods and services ($), count only things like playing spots, meals and gifts. A logo or a name alone is worth $0, so tick $0 (recognition only). If the value is more than $0 and the price is over $75, the sponsor sees a tax notice at checkout.
  5. Tap Add package for more, or the remove button on a package you do not want.

You can edit packages later under Sponsors in the event sidebar.

Step 7, Contests

This step only explains. Closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one prizes are set up after you publish, on the Contests page of your event. You choose the hole and the prize, and you pick the winner on the day. Nothing to fill in here.
