Each package on Sponsors has three controls: Accepting / Paused, Edit, and a delete button (the X).
Who can do this: Admin or Editor
Edit a package
- Open Sponsors.
- On the package, click Edit.
- Change what you need: name, price, how many available, value of goods and services, golfer spots, description, benefits, image, or the scorecard logo box.
- Click Save changes. (Cancel leaves everything as it was.)
Editing a package does not change what a sponsor already paid. It changes what new sponsors see.
Pause a package (hide it, keep it)
- Click the green Accepting button on the package. It turns into Paused.
- Sponsors no longer see this package on your public page.
- Click Paused again to bring it back.
Use pause when a package is sold out, when you promised the last one to someone, or when you want to think about the price.
If every package is paused, your sponsor page shows the form "Sponsor packages are not open yet. Tell the organizer you are interested" instead. Sponsors can still send you their details.
Delete a package
- Click the X on the package (its label reads "Delete package" and the name).
- The package is deleted right away. There is no "are you sure" box and no undo.
Pause instead of deleting if any sponsor already chose this package. Sponsors keep the package name in their row, but they lose the link to the package. Golfer spots depend on that link: the golfer spots line and the Add golfer for this sponsor button disappear from their row.
Common problems
