Use Remove for a sponsor you added twice by mistake, or one who pulled out.
Who can do this: Admin or Editor
Before you start
- Check or cash you recorded is marked as given back. The sponsor leaves your totals. You still need to actually return the money to them yourself.
- A sponsor who paid by card cannot be removed here. Refund them first from Get paid. The message says: "This sponsor paid by card. Refund them on the Get paid page first."
- A sponsor who already got a tax receipt cannot be removed. The message says: "A tax receipt was already sent to this sponsor, so it can't be removed."
- Removing cannot be undone.

Steps
- Open Sponsors and find the sponsor.
- Click Remove on their row.
- Read the box: "Remove [name] from this event?" It explains that recorded check or cash is marked as given back and the sponsorship total goes down.
- Click Remove sponsor to confirm, or Keep to cancel.
What happens next
- The sponsor disappears from Sponsors, the sponsor wall, and hole signs. The hole they held becomes free.
- Any amount they still owed is cancelled.
- Your totals, the fundraising meter and the report update.
- Redswing keeps an internal record that the money was entered and given back.
- Their golfers, if you already put them on your roster, stay on your roster. Remove them from Golfers if they should not play.
Common problems
