Online bidding is not available today. That means the Open all, Open, Close and Close & set winners buttons do not appear on your Auction page, and a guest cannot bid on their phone. Bidding is on paper.
To open bidding
- Print the bid sheets.
- Set a sheet beside each item, with a pen.
- Tell guests when the auction is open.
To close bidding
- Announce a closing time. Say it more than once.
- At that time, collect the sheets (or draw a line under the last bid).
- Record the winners: Record an auction winner. Recording a winner closes that item.
What is different from older instructions
Some older help text mentions closing buttons and an anti-snipe timer. They need online bidding, which is off. Ignore them.
