The meter is a live "Raised so far" total with a progress bar toward your goal. Golfers see it on the leaderboard, and it rotates onto the clubhouse TV.
The short version
- You type a goal in dollars when you create the event (Fundraising goal on the Basics step).
- The meter adds up money as it is recorded and updates by itself every 15 seconds.
- Golfers see "Raised so far", the charity name and "N% of $X goal".
What counts in the total
Everything recorded on the event: golfer payments, sponsorships you have received, auction items you recorded as won or paid, add-ons, donations, and station sales. A sponsor who still owes counts only what you have marked received. A gift you removed with Remove drops out.
Where it shows
| Place | How |
|---|---|
| Public leaderboard | The Raised so far card sits above the standings. |
| Clubhouse TV | A big "Raised so far" panel rotates with the leaderboard, contests (if you have any) and sponsors. At milestones like $500, $1,000, $5,000 it shows a short "raised!" note. |
| Event page | Add a Fundraising meter section on Event page and click Save page. |
Choices you control
| Setting | Where | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Fundraising goal when you create the event | Not set. With no goal, the meter shows the total only, without a progress bar. |
| Meter on your event page | Event page > Fundraising meter section | Not added |
Changing the goal later
The event settings pages do not have a goal box today. Ask Ask AI (the red button) to change it. It can update the goal after you confirm. If it cannot, contact support through the help center.
What Redswing does NOT do
- It does not pull in money you took outside Redswing unless you record it (gifts by hand, sponsors, auction items).
- It does not show a goal bar over 100%: it stops at 100% and keeps counting dollars.
