When a package includes playing spots, each sponsor row shows a count like "4 golfer spots: 1 filled". Use Add golfer for this sponsor to enter each golfer the sponsor tells you about.
Who can do this: Admin or Editor You will need: each golfer's full name (an email helps)
Before you start
- The sponsor must have a package with Golfer spots included above 0.
- There must be room: these golfers count toward your Max players.
Steps
- Open Sponsors.
- Under the sponsor's name, find the line "N golfer spots: X filled".
- Click Add golfer for this sponsor.
- Type the Golfer's full name. Add an Email (optional).
- Read the note: "Added as a free golfer ($0, no fee). It counts toward your Max players."
- Click Add golfer. The button stays grey until the name has two or more letters.
What happens next
- The golfer appears in Golfers as a free (comp) golfer, linked to the sponsor.
- The count goes up by one. When every spot is used, the button is replaced by "All spots used".
- The golfer is not in a group yet. Place them in Pairings: Put a walk-up golfer into a group.
- Nothing is charged, and no Redswing fee applies.
