Quick fix (try this first): open Pairings, find the golfer under Not in a group yet at the top, and pick a group in Add to group…. Their link works right away.
Why it happens
The golfer is on your list but in no group. Usually they signed up or were added after pairings were made, or they were moved out of a group.
Steps
- Open Pairings in the event sidebar.
- At the top, golfers with no group are listed under Not in a group yet.
- On their row, open Add to group… and pick a group with room (it shows "3 of 4" and so on).
- They join the group. Scores the group already entered stay as they are.
- Ask the golfer to open their link again (or reload the page).
Common problems
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| No group has room | In a scramble the golfer can play with a group and the group's one team score covers them. See Short teams and extra players. |
| The golfer is not under Not in a group yet | They are already in a group. Check their name on Check-in: it shows their group. |
Still not working: the backup
Let the golfer score on a teammate's phone using the group's link.
Still stuck?
Open Ask AI (the red button in your dashboard) and describe what you see. It can look at your event and hand the problem to a person at Redswing. If the dashboard will not load, email hello@redswing.io from any device. On event day, switch to the paper backup first so play never waits on a reply.
