Troubleshooting

The dashboard shows an error or a blank page

What to do when a dashboard page says it did not load, shows a blank screen, or says page not found.

Quick fix (try this first): click Try again. If that does not work, click Back to your dashboard and open the page from the sidebar.

Check these, in order

  1. "This page did not load. Your event and its information are safe." Something went wrong loading that one page. Click Try again. Nothing you saved is lost.
  2. It happens again. Reload the whole page with your browser's reload button. Then try another browser, or a private window, to rule out an extension (ad or script blockers can break pages).
  3. A blank white screen. Reload. If you are on old browser software, update it. Turn off "lite mode" or data saver on your phone browser.
  4. "Page not found". The address is wrong or the event belongs to another organization. Go to Home and open the event from Your events. If it is not there, you may be signed in with another email. See I can't sign in.
  5. You are sent to the sign-in page. Your session ended. Sign in again; you come back to the page you were on.
  6. "Account suspended". Your organization's access is paused. Email hello@redswing.io.
  7. No internet. Check your connection. On a course with weak signal, step toward the clubhouse or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Still not working: the backup

  • Another person on your team can try from their device.
  • On event day, golfers keep scoring and the leaderboard keeps updating even if your dashboard page fails. Printed scorecards and group QR codes are your paper backup. See When phones or signal fail: paper scoring.

Still stuck?

Email hello@redswing.io with the page you were on, what you clicked, and the Reference shown at the bottom of the error, if there is one. That reference lets the team find what went wrong. You can also open Ask AI and ask for a person.
