Troubleshooting

A golfer can't finish signing up

Match the message the golfer sees to the cause, fix it, or sign them up yourself in under a minute.

Quick fix (try this first): ask the golfer for the exact words on their screen, then find them below. If you are short on time, sign them up yourself with Add golfer and take their payment directly.

Check these, in order

Still not working: the backup

Sign them up yourself: Golfers → Add golfer, choose how they paid, and take cash, a check or your own payment link. See Add a golfer by hand. If cards are on and they want to pay by card, ask them to try again later from another device.

Why this happens

Most problems are a setting (closed, full, teams only, a code) or the golfer's card. Redswing checks spots and payment readiness again at the last step, so two people can't take the same spot.

Still stuck?

Open Ask AI, the red button in your dashboard. It can check your event's settings and hand the issue to a person. Golfers: your tournament organizer can fix this; their contact details are on the event page.

Sign-ups, pairings, scoring, leaderboard and check-in are free. Golfers who pay online by card add a $5 booking fee inside their price (or you can cover it). 0% on sponsorships, auction, add-ons and donations.
