Every golfer on your list got there one of three ways. Knowing which one tells you what they paid, where the money went, and what you need to do.
The short version
- Golfers pay online by card when your Square account is connected. The money goes straight to your organization's Square account and they are marked paid automatically.
- Golfers reserve online and pay you directly (cash, check or your own link) when cards are not on and you have switched this on. You mark them paid when the money arrives.
- You add golfers yourself: one at a time, or by importing a list. You record whether they paid.

What it costs
Free to run your tournament. Sign-ups, pairings, scoring, leaderboard and check-in are free. Golfers who pay online by card add a $5 booking fee inside their price (or you can cover it). 0% on sponsorships, auction, add-ons and donations. Redswing never sends you a bill.

What Redswing does NOT do
- It never holds your money. Card payments settle to your Square account; everything else you collect yourself.
- It does not let golfers choose between card and paying you once your event takes cards. Online sign-ups then pay by card. Golfers who want to pay you cash or by check: add them yourself with Add golfer.
- It does not send payment reminders. Email golfers who owe you from your own email.
- It does not take card numbers over the phone.
