Sign-ups and payments

Let single golfers sign up

Let golfers sign up on their own so you can put them into teams, or require a full team for every sign-up.

Who can do this: Admin or Editor.

Steps

  1. Open Event settings and find the Registration card.
  2. Allow individual registration is on to start. Leave it on to let single golfers sign up, or turn it off to require full teams. It saves right away.

What golfers see

  • On: the event page offers Register as Team and Register as Individual, each with its price. The sign-up form asks "Who is playing?" with Team and Individual.
  • Off: only Register as Team. A golfer who tries to sign up alone sees "This event takes teams only. Please sign up with your full team."
  • Events with a Team size of 1 always take single golfers.

Putting single golfers into teams

Single golfers come in as their own sign-up with no team. When you make pairings, Redswing fills groups with them. To pair two singles on purpose, give them the same team name with Edit names. See Pairings and flights and Move a golfer to another group.

Sign-ups, pairings, scoring, leaderboard and check-in are free. Golfers who pay online by card add a $5 booking fee inside their price (or you can cover it). 0% on sponsorships, auction, add-ons and donations.
