When golfers reserve a spot and pay you directly, Redswing keeps a list of what each one owes until you mark it received. You can work from that list on Get paid (all events), or from each row on Golfers (one event).
Who can do this: Admin or Editor.
Where to see who owes you
- Get paid → Payments you are waiting on: every event, newest first. Each row reads like "Registration · Sam A., team Foursome 15 (Riverside Classic)", then the date and amount. Sponsors who reserved a package show here too.
- Golfers: the waiting to be paid count at the top, and Waiting to be paid: $... on each row.
Mark one received on Get paid
- Open Get paid and scroll to Payments you are waiting on.
- On the row, tap how they paid:
- Got cash
- Got check
- Paid another way: your own payment link or any other way.
- Comp (free for the golfer): they pay nothing. Comp: free for the golfer, and no Redswing fee.
- The row says Marked received.
Or mark it on Golfers
Tap Mark paid on the row, choose Cash, Check or Comp, and tap Confirm. See Mark a golfer or team paid.
What happens next
- The golfer's row on Golfers says Paid $... (or Comp), and the count goes down.
- If the sign-up has an email, Redswing emails the contact your Registration confirmation with what they paid.
Someone is never going to pay
Use Remove on Golfers. The amount they owed is cancelled and leaves this list, and their spot opens. See Remove a golfer or a team.
Tips for chasing payments
- Export CSV on Golfers gives you a list with the contact email and a Payment column ("pending" means waiting). See Export your golfer list to Excel.
- Redswing does not send payment reminders. Email the contacts yourself.
- Put your payment instructions in Event settings → How golfers pay you so golfers know how to pay. See Write the instructions golfers see for paying you.
Common problems
