Golfers who pay online by card add a $5 booking fee inside their price (or you can cover it). This page shows how to choose, per event.

What the choice covers
- Only golfers who pay online by card. Golfers who reserve and pay you directly, golfers you add, imports and comps carry no booking fee. Golfers who pay you directly (cash, check or your own link), or that you add by hand, are free. Redswing never sends you a bill.
- Per golfer. A foursome that pays by card adds four booking fees.
Steps
- Open your event and choose Event settings.
- Find the card Who pays the Redswing booking fee.
- Choose one:
- My golfers pay it (recommended). It is included in the price golfers see. You receive your full price, less Square's card processing.
- We will cover it. Golfers see your price. The fee comes out of your share instead, so you receive $5 less per golfer.
- The line under the choices shows what golfers who pay by card will see per golfer. Tap Save.
What golfers see
- Golfers pay it: the price on your event page and at checkout includes the fee, for example "$180, includes $5 booking fee". The order summary lists it on its own line before they pay.
- You cover it: golfers see your price, and the order summary notes the fee your organization pays.
- Redswing's own receipt tells card-paying golfers what the fee is for.
Things to know
- Change it any time before golfers pay. A change only affects payments made after you save.
- Refunds return the fee with the golfer's money. See Refund a golfer or team that paid by card.
